Welcome to Sunny Silver Maple Farm

Located in rural Dallas County, Iowa, Sunny Silver Maple Farm raises registered Romeldale CVM and Romney wool sheep. We have a nice group of newer primary moorit rams out of our own ewews. We have been producing some nice new stock over the past couple of years. At the Iowa Sheep and Wool Festival we continue to place in the top three each year, as well as the top two at the Iowa State Fair.
We also continue to have farm fresh eggs from free-ranged Buff Brahma hens, who are fed natural feeds without antibiotics or other chemicals, for our own consumption and to sell locally.
Our horse population continues to be a fun part of our day. Our four little mini horses: Hershey Rose, Cinnamon Pearl, Nutmeg Marie and Calamity Jane, are doing well. Our homestead has apple, peach,cherry, pear and apricot trees as well as blackberry bushes, a strawberry patch and a mini grape arbor. Tucked out back are some beehives under the lilac bushes.
