Snowmobiles should be outlawed

Other than the usual pestilence, war, prejudice, discrimination, etc. that our world faces daily, there hasn't been a whole lot that I HATE.  Well, that all changed this winter.  Specifically, it changed the past few snowfalls that we've had in 2012.  What I've come to HATE vehemently, are snowmobile drivers. They are by far the rudest people in the world. They drive right through my front yard on their noisy irritating machines. They dig up the grass and make a mess. They scare the animals. Now, if I did that to someones yard with my truck, or tractor, or even lawnmower ... I'd be cited for trespassing and/or criminal mischief - depending on how much damage I did to that person's yard.  Yet, snowmobilers do this - day/night in and out - with no consequences whatsoever.  You can't even phone into law enforcement to complain, because there is no way to specifically identify them.  Their license plates are so minuscule and close to the ground, they can't be read while a snowmobile is in motion.  A couple of weeks ago I parked my truck next to their chosen route through my front yard.  Did they get the message? Yeah right! No, they went into the ditch to go around my truck, then raced back up out of the ditch and onto my front yard...clearly a blatant "screw you" is how I read that! Clearly an absolute disregard for other person's property rights.  Then I moved my truck to the front of my yard - directly blocking their path .... they made new paths ... through my yard.  Its a very frustrating dilemma.  What it has inspired me to plan before next winter, is a fence in my front yard - placed right up to the edge of the ditch - so that next year, there is no way across my front yard. Isn't it crazy that I have to do that? So, if any of you readers out there are snowmobile drivers? Please take heed of the property rights of others ... and respect them. Please stay off the grass - even if its buried by snow.
