New week and fair is done.

We survived the daily 3-4 trips back and forth between the fairgrounds and home.  Everyone got a ribbon of some sort - it is 4-H - and everyone is a winner there. :) Katrina did get grand champion wool breed and reserve purebred ewe. The intense heat was draining for everyone, with an average heat index of 110 degrees the entire week.  Even at night, it didn't get below 90.  4-H cohorts assisted in getting Katrina to and from the fair - a big thanks to Jaimie W.  Everyone else fit in a pet crate of some varying size. It was fun,we  learned a lot, and are already making plans for what we want to show next year. Onward, summer!
