Rain.

Finally, some rainfall.  Things were getting pretty dusty and the grass was brown and crisp in the back pasture. This should green things up.  It was a cooler night which provides relief to the animals, but its supposed to be back up to 90+ today and through the weekend. Katrina and Bouquet and Babysbreath have all re-adjusted to being home - all three are major grazers, so are happy to be back outside from the fair setting.  Things to do:  change sheepsuits on Kismet and Korinth - they're growing! Await arrival of next-size-up sheepsuit for Katrina - she's grown a ton!  Get straw, and get some major stall cleaning done.  Attack the old chicken coop - my grandson Emry wants to "earn" Snap (Toggenburg 7/8 doe) and has agreed to be in charge of that major cleaning project. The list could go on and on .... but we have to approach it a day at a time, or would stress too much about all that needs to be done. Happy Friday, all.
