Goat Rescue

So yesterday I go outside, mid-afternoon, and hear this frantic goat screaming, high-pitched and distressed sounding "maaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaa" coming from the pasture area...As I'm walking into the paddock it gets louder, and I'm looking into the partially dismantled corncrib - seeing nothing- and wondering "what the heck?"  Then, as I reach the east side of the corncrib, I look down - and there's Babysbreath (on Ada's left, above) underneath the corncrib! STUCK! Lodged beneath the floor of the corncrib and the ground, and behind a post that had been placed across that space to keep goat kids out!!!! Obviously to no avail.  :|   Luckily, she is so super trusting and easy-going.  I was able to turn her sideways and get a grasp of her front legs and slowly pull her out.  Lordy! Whatever inspired her to go there in the first place is beyond me! Such are the days at Silver Maple Farm.
